Uihlein Claims 2010 U.S. Amateur On 21st Birthday

University Place, Wash. – Peter Uihlein gave himself the perfect 21st birthday present: a USGA championship. The Orlando, Fla., resident, who is entering his junior season at Oklahoma State, defeated David Chung of Fayetteville, N.C., 4 and 2, in the scheduled 36-hole championship match of the 110th U.S. Amateur at Chambers Bay. Uihlein, a member of the victorious 2009 USA Walker Cup Team, turned 21 on the day of the final match.
